"Nice hotel. Book the top floor “Attic” if possible. Nice outdoor veranda. We didn’t take advantage of the breakfast at an additional cost but it looked nice. We ate in restaurants & cafes in the city, many within 15 minutes walk. We lived Alicante. Nice city & felt safe wherever we walked. C6 bus to and from airport easy to use. €4.50 or € 1.05 (we only used one way) for over 65’s. Bus stop outside train station 5 minutes walk down the road from hotel. Hotel staff very good, spoke good English, although we used our limited Spanish. We would highly recommend this hotel for a stay in Alicante. "

"Just returned from a short break in Alicante. The hotel is perfectly located to explore the city. Unfortunately the Top "chill" floor was under renovation, so the high rise bar was out of service. We were still able to access and take in the fantastic view of the Santa Barbara castle. The most commendable part of the stay, are the staff. The reception staff were always, pleasant and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble for the 3 that interacted with. From restaurant recommendations and city guides through to researching and booking a wine tasting and tapas event. 10 out of 10"

"This is a lovely hotel situated very close to the marina and a short walk to the main town. We were able to see the sea from our side balcony. The room was an average side for a city hotel. The bed was large and very comfortable. I had a good sleep every night. The bathroom had a large shower with shampoo and shower gel supplied. Staff at the hotel were very friendly and when we checked in the receptionist explained a bit about the local area and suggested places to go with things to see. We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel, but it was available if we wanted it. There wasn’t tea or coffee making facilities in the room, but we could’ve requested them. There was drink making facilities in the breakfast room to use at any time free of charge. Overall, I enjoyed staying at this hotel and would stay there again. "

"We have stayed at this hotel on a number of occasions. It's in a good location opposite the main market and airport bus stop. It's great for a few days when exploring the city but lacks any frills. The rooms could do with an upgrade but are clean and comfortable. Rooms at the the front of the hotel face the main road and market and those on lower levels will be more noisy as a result. We always ask for a room on an upper level preferably facing the castle which get the morning sun. We don't book breakfast because there are numerous cafes nearby where you can eat whilst sitting in the sunshine at a fraction of the hotel price. Turn right out of the front door and immediately right again, less than 100 metres away you will find a café full of local people with tables outside. The hotel is convenient for everything nowhere is more than 10 minutes walk away. We have frequently been in our room within an hour of landing. The C6 airport bus is brilliant and if you are of a certain age don't forget to ask for a "Dos Boletos de Pesionista" 2.1 euros for two for the 30 minute ride from the airport! The staff are knowledgeable, helpful and always welcoming. The hotel has a lot to recommend it and is often very good value."
