This is a must stop if you're traveling through Amarillo. The hotel is very clean and the decor is fabulous. We loved that the doors leading to the bathroom area qere like old saloon doors. A big perk is the Big Texan steak house on property. Be sure to make a reservation.

The design of the entire property is quite over-the-top Cowboy-ish, and the best amenity is the Bix Texan Steak Ranch next door. The room interior is thoughtfully designed and decorated, too. The shower is great. The windows are not entirely shut so you can still peek through the cracks
