"Quick one night stop over on route from UK via Cherbourg to Dordogne. 2 adults 3 young kids. We booked the wooden Summerhouse/Chalet because it was more fun for the kids. We got exactly what we booked, perfect. Our host was very friendly and helpful given our poor spoken French. Woke up with the song from the birds in the woods. Breakfast was perfect, great coffee, freshly baked bread, home made jams, apricots, yoghurts and pain au chocolat."

"We spent a very pleasant evening at Chateau de Pintray. The owner, Anne, is delightful and kindly booked dinner for us in an excellent restaurant nearby.
