"Unbelievable experience once again. This was our 2nd time staying at the hotel as we loved it so much I decided to come back to propose to my girlfriend. The staff took care of the proposal with confidence and had everything in place for our arrival. The oasis suite was the most incredible room/suite we have ever stayed in. The whatsapp service was amazing and no request was too much. The service was the best we have ever recieved in the world and not just in Europe. All of the hotel staff were amazing, helpful and friendly. The breakfast is our favourite hotel breakfast. We have stayed at many high end hotels and this tops all of them. For anyone coming for an amazing trip or thinking to propose to their partner, don’t hesitate to book this hotel."

"We had a wonderful one night stay at Lava Stone. We chose Ammoudi Bay over the main town Oia for the quiet setting and beautiful view, away from the overrun main town. All catamarans etc come into this bay for the sunset and we were able to watch it from the privacy of our own terrace. The hike up the big cobblestone steps to the main town is a bit exhausting - you can ride a mule up the hill instead if you wish… Do take advantage of them organizing a pick up for you from the port / airport. Not cheap, but very pleasant ride. Be aware that the car cannot reach the property and you have to carry your luggage up several flights of stairs. We only had a backpack, so that was no issue for us. "

"We loved our stay at Santo Mine. Location wise, it’s perfect to be close enough for a short 5 minute walk to Oia whilst also being extremely peaceful and quiet throughout the hotel. Everything from the location, room cleanliness and wow factor with the views you get is spot on. I couldn’t write a review without complimenting the staff at the hotel. From reception/concierge to Bruno and his team in particular at the restaurants, they all make you instantly feel welcomed on arrival and throughout your stay. I couldn’t recommend the hotel enough as an ideal spot for a trip to Santorini! "
