"While we had an overall pleasant stay, there were a few disappointing aspects that I wouldn't expect from a 5-star hotel.
The biggest surprise was the bed. The mattress, pillows, and bedding simply didn't feel like they met a 5-star standard. The bed wasn't very comfortable, and I've honestly had better sleep in some 2- or 3-star hotels.
Another issue was the shower drainage. The water drained very slowly, so it would start to build up while showering, which was frustrating.
The other disappointment was the pool hours. The pool closes at 7:00 PM, which really limits the opportunity to enjoy it. One of the main reasons I chose this hotel was to relax by the pool after a full day of sightseeing and walking around Athens. With such an early closing time, that wasn't really possible. If I had known this in advance, I probably would have chosen a different hotel.
Overall, the hotel has its positives, but I think these are important points for future guests to know, especially if you're booking it with the intention of enjoying the pool after a day of exploring the city."
