“One of the best stays during our 3 week trip in Ecuador. Maybe the best overall. Modern and luxeous lodge in a gorgeous, peaceful landscape with a beautiful view on the forested mountains. Clean rooms, very large comfortable bed (even large enough for me, I am almost 2 meters tall) and lots of big windows to peer outside. Delicious meals and an excellent, very hospitable host. “A wonderful stay. Not only is this guest house run for a great cause (education of indigenous people in Guamote and surroundings) it is done without sacrificing any comfort, style or creativity for guests. Staff (both local and expat) were great. The breakfast and dinner were a cut above Ecuadorian standards. The room was comfortable and spacious with a king bed and good shower. Much more than you would expect in this very local village”
