A very enjoyable 4 days stay particularly as I was able to acquire a portable A/C unit from the very helpful reception staff - I arrived in 38C!! Located within walking distance of everything in beautiful Angers but very quiet as it’s in the University zone. There’s a supermarket minutes away as are lovely walks along the river to the château. The room itself was pristine and comfortable. Ticked all my boxes and hope to return again next year.

Rooms were spacious and clean. Very comfortable with a small balcony. Bed very comfy. Showers hot with a full raining water shower head. Food (Dinner) was really good and the dining area very homely. Staff were cheerful and very helpful.

The staff were very helpful. The propery is a short walk from the city centre and there is an excellent small supermarket close by. The accommodation itself was fine and the car park was secure.

I would have give much better reviews to this apartment hotel if I had one good night sleep. Every night there were people screaming right outside around 1am most likely college kids lives in dorms next door. No front desk staff was available. I wish I could call police but unfortunately my French is very limiting.

I would have given 5 stars out of 5, because the room and the facility were very good. What a pity for the breakfast room, totally underdimensioned for this hotel-residence. You have to wait for plates, cutlery and free spaces. The two breakfast ladies try their best, but the breakfast room is simply not suitable for this facility. The brakfast food is good though, with choices of fresh fruits and grains.

We booked two rooms with mixed conditions. The room on level 8 was much better than level 7. The level 8 beds were comfortable and the bathroom was clean and modern with a shower over the the bathtub. The level 7 bathroom was an old styled open tiled shower area shared with the toilet. There was visible mould in the corner of the tiles which was quiet off putting. The non stick cooking pots and pans in both rooms were also terrible scratched which wasn't appealing to prepare meals with. It is in a convenient location with a supermarket within a few minutes walk.

Room was huge and in the main in good condion. However noticeable it was one of the ones not yet updated. Bathroom was worn and old fashioned and needed a complete redo. Sofa bed when as a couch was faux leather and quite damaged. Upon complaining I was kindly offered 2 other rooms but athough these were modernised and newly updated in the end I stuck with original room due to the extra space, how bright it was and the amazing 8th floor view. Just threw a duvet over the sofa. Beds are extremely comfortable and all the items you need in a flat are provided. Staff go above and beyond to help you have a comfortable stay. Especially Michael who was extremely helpful. I would certainly stay again.

Convenient to IceParc Angers

Just a short walk to the IceParc Angers, it is a convenient location for events there. The night I checked in the elevator was broken and they put me on the 6th floor. It was horrible. There was also no hot water. The next day they moved me to the second floor. It took several days for the elevator to be fixed. This was better at least for climbing stairs. The siting room light did not work. Rooms are a bit spartan but clean. Bathrooms clean. Breakfast was limited and they ran out of eggs by the time I got to breakfast most mornings. There is a grocery store a couple of blocks away, and then an area of shopping and restaurants. Once the elevator was fixed the stay was nice enough. The reception staff was very good. The area was quiet and seemed safe. Despite the problems I would return if the need to occurred.

The staff were friendly and helpful; the location - close to the university - has plenty of facilities nearby and the locality has a buzzy, safe atmosphere. The room, bathroom and kitchen were squeaky clean and, as with all hotels in this chain, had everything needed for cooking. A great place to stay.

The room was clean but I must say furniture and equipment were very old and many items should be replaced, for example. sofa bed was literally dead (it seems tried to repair but very poor quality repair) and all clothes - door doesn’t move and broken. I see that they replaced some items such as fridge and cooking elements but it really need to work out especially other apartment hotel is nearby and looks much better. Additionally room was extremely hot and no A/C and only one ventilator. I saw several review so I brought small strong ventilator with me (we visit Angers by car) but outside was 39 degrees and inside room was very similar temperature. They had Air conditioners in breakfast room and reception area but … that‘s it. We stayed for a week but water service was out of order so no free water from hotel (again whole week - Angers had above 35 degrees every day). On top of it, their laundry room was out of service whole time we stayed. They said it‘s holiday season we contacted but no one come and repair so I should go to neighboring apartment hotel (!) to ask either I can use their laundry room, I was very confused and so embarrassed to ask other apartment hotel receptionist (competitor apartment even) … it was very strange experience.

Idéalement situé avec un personnel à l'écoute, très aimable et réactif . Chambre très propre très bien équipée, avec porte d'entrée et porte de chambre, double vitrage qui vous permet un réel repos. Je vous conseille cet hôtel. Réservez les yeux fermés. À 3 minutes à pieds de Super U.
