Checkin was quick and easy. She arranged shuttle service for us to the airport for the next morning which was convenient and wonderful. Rooms are basic and all channels on tv are local, so if you don’t speak Spanish you’ll have limited to no options. Hot showers and cold AC. Basic breakfast included. Limited bathroom toiletries (missing shampoo and bar soap).

La habitación muy limpia, personal amable, el guardia muy atento. Lo que no nos gustó es que quien nos atendió al principio de nuestra llegada nos dijo que solo teníamos derecho de dos desayunos cuando en realidad era en toda nuestra estancia, no hicieron nada por lo sucedido.

Nice hotel within walking distance of major attractions. Water took quite a while to hear up in the shower but everything else was great. Also good breakfast.

Super friendly staff. Hotel was very clean. Breakfast was great. We booked this hotel for the hot tub but it wasn’t convenient bc they keep it at a low temperature so when you want to use it, you have to let the staff know and they’ll turn the temperature up. But that took an hour to warm up so you have to bake that into your schedule.

Wonderful location and quiet hotel with beautiful gardens! Room is clean and spacious and breakfast is decent. Want to come back but find it fully sold out. Check in time says no late check in after 6 but it’s actually not like that, we arrived after 10pm and checked in smoothly, highly recommend

Excelente opción , viajo por muchos lugares y este lugar me impresionó ! Desde el ingreso con mucha amabilidad , cuartos amplios , camas impecables y lo mejor : servicio del personal de 10 . Yo esperaba Algo sencillo y hasta feo por lo que pagué pero me sorprendió lo bonito y cómodo del lugar . El costo conveniencia sale ganando el viajero al 1000 lo recomiendo

I liked the friendly staffs, the rooms were fairly clean, however, it did have a woody and sometimes painting smell but we adjusted by the 2nd day. They served breakfast daily, it was fairly simple options, it doesn’t really fill u up but it’s something free. Jacuzzi is not open in November. The whole balcony and inside the hotel was beautiful. It’s also SUPER close to main attractions in Antigua. One thing though, the shower head was the biggest turn-off for me because it barely sprayed water to wash my hair. And our hair got dirty fast bc of dusty roads. This was a 3 star stay for me BUT I gave them 4 star because I had an issue where I left my whole bag when I hopped on Uber to go to airport, half-way they texted me via Watsapp and sent a pic that said I left my whole backpack in there. They kept it safe for me while I went back and got it back because that bag had my passport, and literally everything. I really appreciated that and it just tells me they are great people. So if you like a good hospitality and fairly clean room, I would recommend this.

My stay at Nico Hotel was deeply disappointing and unsafe. I discovered visible mold in my room, which is a serious health concern. I reached out to the hotel twice — once through Expedia and once directly through WhatsApp — and provided clear photo evidence both times. Despite this, I received no meaningful response, no resolution, and no acknowledgment of the issue. The lack of communication and accountability was unacceptable. Mold is not a minor inconvenience; it’s a sign of poor maintenance and poses real health risks. I requested a full refund due to the conditions, but the hotel never addressed my inquiry. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this property. Guests deserve clean rooms and responsive management, and unfortunately, Nico Hotel did not provide either.

Cuando llegamos nos dijeron que no tenían espacio y que nos mandarían al anexo de su hotel a dos puertas. La habitación pequeña y está como en construcción. Déjanos nuestras cosas y al regresar a las 10 pm no nos abrían la puerta. Tocamos el timbre el hotel principal que también estaba cerrado y no abrieron. Por fin cuando nos abrieron en la casa todo el hotel estaba oscuro. Creo que no habían más huéspedes y el cuarto apestaba a pupu. Era un olor imposible de dormir en el cuarto. Pregunté por otra habitación y llamaron al encargado el cual solo se disculpó q no tenían mas habitaciones y Depsues muy grosero me dijo que era mi culpo por no haberme dado cuenta cuando hice el check in pero a esa hora no había ese olor. Abrí ventanas y cerré el baño y era igual, Depsues de 15 min de seguir igual decidimos irnos a otro hotel. No es primera vez que los hospedábamos ahí pero si había escuchado que el anexo no sirve. Si hacen reservación y los mandan al anexo cancelen inmediatamente porque no vale la pena. Don Pedro el de la puerta muy amable pero el gerente lo invité a llegar al hotel a esa hora y pudiera sentir el olor y no quiso llegar. Le llamaron a la dueña y no contestó. Las sábanas estaban con manchas y el cuarto pequeño, incómodo y no existen fotos en Expedia porque sino nadie se quedaría. También dicen que tiene Parqueo gratis, lo cual es mentira. Hay que pagar $20 la noche cerca del hotel y no abren al siguiente día hasta las 10 am. CUIDADO

Staff was super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. BUT be warned there are two Nico hotels. I was in Nico 2 and it is under construction and the room smelled bad my entire trip.
