“The only thing that I wish was different, was my booking credit card was billed as soon as I walked through the door. I asked during check in to pay with a different card and was told “too late I already charged your secured card”. Otherwise I was pleasantly surprised by this property and would book it again”
“While the lodge was outdated, the place was spotless. Loved the shower water pressure. Hiking and views were spectacular. Staff was very nice and recommended some great places to visit. ”

“We usually stay at Tilton Hotel brands. Usually Ampton Inns. The prices lately at that brand of hotels have been unaffordable. Not to mention that some of their properties could use a little TLC.
The Country Inn and Suites in Dunbar has us thinking about switching to Choice Hotels brand of properties! Very welcoming, room was clean and affordable. The staff is very friendly. The only thing that could use some work is the breakfast offerings.”
