"The staff was excellent, helpful. There were several issues in our room: Initially the thermostat would not work in the heat position but the staff promptly brought a heater. The sink drain was clogged, again the staff remedied the problem. After requesting housekeeping, the towels were not replaced (perhaps we should have placed the old ones on the floor, but there was no indication to that effect), and one bed was only partially made. The best part is the location of the lodge and its orientation toward the west. The sunsets over the mountains on the horizon are incredible. This is the second time we stayed at the lodge (4 nights) and we will come again. The surrounding region is beautiful too, waterfalls, towns, trails."

"We stayed overnight enroute to Tennessee, We were treated to a breakfast of homemade waffles, muffins, sausage juice and coffee. we enjoyed meeting the other guess as well. Beautiful sunset"
