"No joining instructions were sent prior to arrival. The resort had no idea of the booking because it was a private apartment rented out on Hotels.com by another company. I had to call to get someone to tell me how to gain access to the apartment. The resort were going to charge me for parking but I showed that the listing stated parking was included. When we got into the apartment there were no towels or bedding. Had to call again. Was told that the listing stated that this was not included....

"when I booked the hotel I was promised a code for late entry - i never received it but on the morning of the stay I was promised it again - but they never sent it - I couldn’t risk not having somewhere to stay late at night with young children so I had to book another hotel - they then charged my crefit card the full amount and sent me the code very late in the day when I didn’t have internet access. The property is managed through a company that only has local phones for contact information. Using the Expedia app to communicate with them is unreliable as they will claim not to receive messages on time or at all. Once booking is completed they will send you an email in French.
