“If you remember “the good old days” of the small family-run Italian small hotel, this will make you go right back to those lost days! Riccardo and his family are so wonderful. When I told him I was interested in the history of the region, he quickly told me 5 or 6 amazing tales from the distant past, as well as from his own lived experience. This is why we travel: to meet people like this! Did I mention this hotel is LOVELY with a fine attention to detail in all things? I wish I could’ve stayed...

“Tutto era molto bello e elegante e pulito... struttura molto bella .... appartamento confortevole... Personale gentilissimo e premuroso...3 giorni molto belli... consigliato”

“Our stay was wonderful! We arrived later in the evening and our hosts were extremely patient and helpful. They recommended a restaurant nearby (Trattoria da Christian) that was possibly the best meal we had in Italy. The property is immaculately clean and the shower was fantastic. We absolutely recommend staying at this property!”

“This is such a lovely spot. The location is convenient to food and attractions and the manager is incredibly nice and helpful. Comfortable bed, hot shower, nice garden though it stormed when I was there so I didn’t really use it. Would definitely visit Ferrara and stay at this locanda again.”

Consiglio!!”

“Overcharged for breakfast and add ons...16 euros each for pastry and coffee breakfast, 8 euros each for water, 29 euros for 1/2 litre of wine, booked and paid thru Expedia and at checkout demanded another 125 Euros difference. Apparently could not understand even when I used Google translate. Contacted Expedia after to try and resolve problem, hotel said they had given me a complimentary "upgrade" and had neglected to take it off my bill and could not refund to the card I paid with but would...

“Our stay here was awesome. Great location only 10 minutes walking to the castle and the train station. The staff are super friendly and helpful, and the room was exactly as described and very clean. It was an amazing stay!!”

“Great location for visiting heritage sites and shopping and eating options”

Personale super gentile e disponibile”

“Nice place with a helpful owner. Thank you”
