What a wonderful hotel. The staff is terrific. Location perfect. Room was great. And the breakfast was a nice way to start the day. I'd be happy to stay there again.

Our pre cruise, four-night stay at the Casa Bevant (CB) was truly memorable. The hotel is very centrally located. Turn right upon exiting the hotel and the Recoleta Cemetery, the Recoleta Urban Mall and a host of sidewalk cafes, restaurants and even bars are within a 5-minute walk along a lovely tree lined street. We had a great time during our 4 nights at Posada El Encuentro. It was a great base point for visiting allll the nearby wineries. I would recommend it and Chacras de Coria so much more than staying in Mendoza City (which is only 15 minutes away anyways, $5-$10 taxi rides, and plenty of restaurants wihing walking distance to eat at in Chacras anyweays) I liked that it was a small, family run hotel. This was a great find. Location was excellent with many eateries and sights close by. Minutes from the theater district. Safe area to walk at night. The service by the hotel staff is second to NONE.

We stayed at the Tango de Mayo Hotel on the backend of a multi-week trip to Argentina, right before heading home. On a pleasant quiet side street but just a few blocks away from Santa Fe street made our stay very pleasant the staff was courteous and helpful. And being small we didn’t have to waste time walking thru large lobbies. With only a few rooms per floor there were no long hallways.

Hotel is a high level business-oriented facility. Many of the guests appeared to be professionals visiting Argentina on business. Large number of airline crew present as well. Check-in was smooth, though for persons arriving on early flights, getting to your room might be a problem. I was upgraded for a moderate rate and got a room on the executive floor right away.
