“This hotel is lovely. It's surrounded by beautiful trees and a river. The best part are the monkeys that climb through the trees and can be viewed from the restaurant. The rooms are beautiful in a sparse, clean and sophisticated way with tasteful choice of art and furnishings. The place is great for kids - a lovely pool and great play area. “I stayed at Mount Meru Game Lodge before embarking on a 2-week safari and after 24 hours in the air. It was a wonderful place to unwind and sleep well before the trip. The location was convenient, the staff very friendly and helpful, the price was fair, the rooms were comfortable and clean, and the setting was special having been a former sanctuary for game animals. Also, there was an onsite massage spa which was excellent.”
