โRivertrees is a magical oasis of cottages nestled among the dense forest. A perfect place for R&R either before or after a safari (or both as we did). The staff is so so nice too. โ
โThe views of Mt Meru and the surrounding bush country were magnificent. The grounds include banana, papaya, mango, pineapple and avocado plants/trees, all of which enhance the experience.

โOur stay was amazing. Lucie and staff made sure we were well looked after each night we stayed between our Safari and trek. Rooms are a great size, clean and comfortable. โThe hotel has significant grounds around it and there are lots of birds. It is just outside Arusha and so much quieter and clean air, there is a lawn and pool and tables to relax and socialize while taking in a great view of Mt Meru and all the birds. โI had a great stay there and such a great host. Belinda very nice person she waited for me patiently as my flight got there pretty late. Very attentive and just good people. โ

Low key creepyโฆ There was no free airport pickup (as suggested)โwe had to pay. No running water, no toilet seat, bugs in the sink, no electrical outlets and very cold.
We were also asked to pay twice.
On the positive they fed us a nice breakfast. โ
โI asked them to arrange airport transport for me the first 3 times nothing was done the 4th they said itโs reserved 4 hours later I get a knock on my door if I want to reserve transport itโs more money etcโฆ I wake up at 3 am for transport next day theres no transport arranged mass panic breaks out. Itโs not the end of the world I just donโt get how itโs difficult to arrange transportโ
