Came to this hotel after getting married. We stayed here for 2 nights before we headed out to our honeymoon. When we arrived they informed us that there was a security deposit of $150, which i thought was a little weird but it was fine. We then were informed that parking was going to be $35 a night, which is a bit ridiculous considering i have stayed in upscale hotels in D.C. that did not charge for parking. Lastly, it took them 4-5 days to remove the hold on my account, and when they finally did they charged me $69 dollars, and i cant even tell you what for because they haven't even sent me an invoice. Don't get me wrong, the hotel is beautiful and clean. But if im spending more than $300 a night, parking should be free, especially when there is a parking garage across the street. If you are charging for parking then you should inform you guest when they book their stay. By not informing prople you are forcing them to incur this extra expense, because its not like i can say oh no thank you i will just stay somewhere else because they have already paid for the stay. Don't get me wrong, the property is nice, but the practices of this hotel just feel underhanded.
