The pictures really don’t do justice for how beautiful this place and area is. It was quiet, had everything you needed, the view is stunning, it is short walk to beach and to walk to the falls! Highly recommend!

A peaceful, green stay

This was such a lovely place to stay, in a gorgeous location. I wish I could have booked a longer stay. The outdoor area was full of greenery and a perfect place to kick back with a book or conversation. The hostel had a cozy feeling, and also walking distance to a nice waterfall hike and to the beach.

This Beachstay is in a beautiful location. The house itself is very well equipped and has great common areas and facilities. Beds super comfortable. Everyone very respectful and friendly. 10 minute walk to the beach, and 2 walking tracks within minutes walk.

We unfortunately stayed just for one night at this beautiful Hostel. We really enjoyed the time there. The check-in was easy and uncomplicated. Geoff is a really friendly person. The walk to the beach is about 15min. We could definitely recommend this hostel!

Close to the beach and hikes. Very laid back. Jeff has great recommendations which are posted right on the wall for your convenience. He even has farm fresh eggs from his chicken available for $1 and a trampoline. So fun!

The room was small but the bed was comfortable with clean soft linen. The shared bathroom and toilet facilities were clean and seemed to accommodate all visitors. The kitchen and common lounge were clean and inviting. Good value for money.

It was my first time staying in a hostel, and I was pleasantly surprised, the place was extremely clean, and very welcoming. If i am ever in Piha again, I would for sure stay there again!

Ist ein schönes Hostel, aber man kann auch normale ‚Hotelzimmer‘ mit Bad haben. Ca 15min vom Beach und in der Nähe der Wasserfälle.

Ein kleines Juwel in einem ruhigen Seitental

Das Hostel liegt in einem bewaldeten Seitental, etwa 10Min zu Fuss vom Strand. Unser Zimmer (mit Bad) war das schönste unserer bisherigen NZ-Reise (nach 1 Monat). Wir fühlten uns darin sehr wohl. Schade, hatten wir nur 1 Nacht gebucht. Am Morgen besuchten uns Hennen des Hostels auf der Terrasse. Ihre Eier bereicherten schliesslich unser Frühstück

アットホームなので、プライバシーが気になる方はやめたほうがいいけど、最低限は守られているので自分としては全く問題なかった。 窓からの景色もよく、かなりのんびり出来る宿です。

Nice stay in Phia

Overall great stay. Walking distance to the beach and hiking trails. I did the Kite Kite trail and walked up and down Phia beach. Beautiful area.

Wished I could have stayed longer!

It was such a lovely stay, I wished I could have stayed longer! Could easily do a week there, the short distance is totally worthwhile for the breathtaking views. Everyone was friendly and welcoming even the pets.
