My 10yr old Son is a WW2 enthusiast and in his own words "an amazing hotel with some really interesting relics, the room was fantastic and looked like a 1940s bedroom, would definitely stay again". Such a nice place to unwind after a day of sight seeing and the owners put up a great breakfast so youre ready for the next day! Cant wait to return!”

“L’appartement était spacieux et propre. Sa cuisine est un vrai plus. L’accueil est vraiment sympathique. Proche de toutes commodités à pied. J’ai apprécié d’être rentrée le soir en ayant du chauffage de préparé car dehors il faisait très froid . C’était vraiment super !”

“Les propriétaires du gite sont au petits soins même quand on arrive vers 22h. Tout est impeccable avec de bonnes choses à manger et beaucoup de petits plus. Je vais revenir dans ce gîte dès que j aurais à travailler près de Cherbourg. Je recommande vivement.”

“Located in the center of Carentan across from the bahnhof, this hotel is easy to find. Parking is available in back or on the street. The room we stayed in #11, has no interior curtains. To have privacy, you close the outdoor shutters and lock them, the close the windows. No electric outlets in the bathroom or 2nd room where 2 single beds are located. Rooms are clean, bed was firm. ”

“A charming spot well located for the seaside town of St Vaast, and only 25 minutes from the Cherbourg ferry. A warm welcome from the hosts. Plentiful breakfast which can be taken outside. Spotlessly clean, very peaceful even though on a main road (hardly any traffic in the evening) Lovely gardens to sit in or even have a takeaway supper. Good value. Would definitely return.”

“Der Besitzer ist sehr freundlich. Das Hotel liegt in ruhiger Lage. Das Zimmer hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Es war sehr Sauber. Der Parkplatz ist direkt vorm Zimmer. Das Frühstück fällt sehr üpig aus und ist seinen Preis wert. Es wird auch für zukünftige besuche in der Normandie unsere erste Wahl für Übernachtungen sein.”
