I'm sure this was a lovely hotel in its day, but today, it is very dated. Our room is quite small, bathroom is just big enough to stand in, and dingy. The beds were neatly made, no bed bugs, though they are small beds (probably full size). The breakfast is more or less snacks. The ac and heat work. The area was quiet, we were not disturbed by noisy residents, and the staff is friendly, though perhaps limited in the English language. Overall, we were satisfied. The price is under $100 including all taxes. We're guessing this hotel may have been built around the time the thruway was built or even before. It has history that would be interesting to look into.

Posted pics of property are grossly misleading. Property is in shabby condition at best. Bed covers stained and had multiple burn holes. Beds grossly hard, pillows miserably flat. Couldnt park in front of our room d/t 3 lrg motocycles parked there. Most of the rooms occupied by long term renters,but they were friendly. Room had overwhelming scent of cleaner or something. Refused to take luggage in for fear of bugs infesting. Could see daylight around entire door when it was closed and locked. Thankful we were traveling with a German Shepherd that always looks like a serious guard dog. People asked to pet her but we told them she may bite. Pool was covered, area over grown with a weed forest. Wouldn't advise stepping on deck. Bathroom was tiny, you need to step into it, turn around and then shut the door. I think there were 3 channels on the TV. Woke up at 5am d/t terribly hard bed and we were out of there by 6am. We won't be back.

The property had No Hot Water! impossible to clean without it. stayed one night and they charged me for three. Would not refund. Would not recommend this location

Each room section on the first floor had an outdoor deck looking out to the open sky, and an area to bring your grill to barbecue cook outdoors... The motel is located up a hill not too far from two truck stops—one that has a Dunkin Donuts—with easy access to Interstate 90-West and 90-East. West Stockbridge, MA is a short drive away—crossing the New York State border into Massachusetts on Routes 41 and 102... Before you cross over into Massachusetts there is a local winery and tasting room. West Stockbridge, MA, Old Lenox, MA, and Stockbridge have many family-owned restaurants, art galleries, museums, and live entertainment venues to visit. The Norman Rockwell Museum, Kripalu Yoga Retreat Center, The Chester House of Sculpture, The Red Lion Inn, and Lion's Den—as well as Olivia's Overlook, are must destinations. There are many family farms to visit, as well as Shaker Hancock Village... For those that love Latin-American cuisine, 24 minutes away is Pittsfield, MA—eat at La Fogato Columbian restaurant (770 Tyler Street • Pittsfield, MA)... Also in Pittsfield are many more Latin-American and Mexican family-owned restaurants... In Pittsfield, MA, you can visit the Farmer's Market on Sundays and enjoy a New England Sunday Jazz Brunch at Dottie's Coffee Lounge (no cover). In the same location is Dorothy's offering live entertainment during the week. NOTE: The Lion's Den in Stockbridge charged a $10 Cover charge for the live entertainment regardless of whether or not you order food.

There were guest's children running around as we pulled in to park...didn't want to hit anyone. Guests allowed their kids to run all over the place. Not the owners fault, but it gives you an idea of clientele.

The property was way outdated they said there was free breakfast the only thing I got was coffee and no breakfast l tell you the truth, one of the worst experiences of my life it also had bed bugs Itchy all night

Needs some work
This motel has potential but unfortunately it was quite run down at the time of my visit. With some minor work and better house keeping, I would return. Until then, I unfortunately can not recommend this motel to anyone.

It was disgustingly dirty. The base of the toilet had dried urine. Cobwebs in corners. Mattress was extremely hard. Headboard had something nasty on it.
