“We had a wonderful stay at the Pousada Ria - Aveiro. The hotel is beautifully situated by the water with lovely views of the ocean bay, and the building itself is nice and has a convenient parking lot. Our room was spacious, bright, and immaculately clean.
The front desk representative was especially helpful and welcoming. The rest of the staff were friendly and professional as well. Overall, a very pleasant experience - we’d gladly return.”
“Very spacious and well appointed suite, perhaps only missing more device charging locations. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast clearly one of the best ever and included. Location is great as the downtown is within walking distance and beaches very close also. Did not want to leave as the pool area was a true oasis.”
“The exterior of the hotel is beutiful and the historic atmosphere is unique.
Unfortunately, my room did not meet the standard I would expect from a hotel of this category. While I understand that I was assigned one of the smaller rooms, it felt as though the room was not fully ready to be offered to guests. There was peeling paint, visible rust in the bathroom, and the toilet seat did not fit the toilet properly, making it uncomfortable to use. This is something I would not expect to encounter...

“Room was OK, A/C worked good which was nice.
Parking in basement was a challenge, not for bigger cars for sure and you need to be able to navigate your vehicle carefully, not much room to get around.
Breakfast was OK, a missed a bit of more healthy options.
Friendly and helpful staff most of the time even with a few language challenges, receptionists spoke good English though.”
