I have stayed at Grand Hotel Açores Atlântico five times in the last 18 months. The staff is especially friendly and accommodating. Antonio in particular always greets you with a warm smile and an interesting fact about the island. His quick wit is a plus too! I will always stay at the Grand Hotel.

Very comfortable hotel with beautiful manicured grounds. Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable and helpful. Breakfast buffet was superb. Only problem was a lack of local restaurants in easy walking distance, encouraging visitors to visit the resort restaurants which were mediocre and expensive.

This is a very nice hotel in a great location. Very clean and well-maintained. This stuff is very nice and helpful. Restaurant is great for breakfast and OK for dinner. The only minus is that the check in is at 3 PM which may be difficult for people arriving in the morning.

Andre at reception started us off with great hospitality and friendliness and had suggestions for several activities. The room was superb as was the hot springs pool. The hotel had the nicest indoor pool I've seen anywhere. The whole experience was very memorable

This hotel was wonderful !! The property is gorgeous and the beach is stunning! The hotel is very well kept, super clean, and well organized. The restaurants are great. Breakfast buffet was great options and quality and dinner options were amazing. Cocktails are the best! Properly made not just syrup. The pools were clean and actually heated. My kids loved playing. Overall a wonderful place to stay.

Brand new hotel, we really liked it. Staff was helpful and accommodating, good location - a few minutes walk to the center of town and the historic area, a block or two further than the NH collection hotel. Nice breakfast which was a nice way to start the morning with a selection of both hot and cold dishes and coffee. We would definitely recommend staying at the NH porto jardim.

I absolutely love this boutique hotel. Location couldn't be better - in vibrant Bairro Alto and very close to train station (Cais do Sodre) and walking distance to many sights and great restaurants. Out of all the hotels that I have ever stayed in Europe, the Grande Real Villa Italia & Spa was the best hotel! Located in a beautiful beach community, this location is ideal for a wonderful outdoor pool and close to the water for beach adventures. Wonderful stay. Stunning property, fabulous views, food was excellent, boat ride in our the Douro magical. Service could have been better - they were not as attentive as I would have liked to see for a property of this caliber.
