"The staff are friendly and welcoming. I can tell they truly desire you to have a pleasant stay. It is important for anyone traveling to know that this is a reservation stay and the expectation should be according. The property is fenced but many of the gates are propped open allowing area Rez dogs to Rome and perhaps beg for food. The rooms are clean though much of the furniture is in disrepair and many items are in non-working order. Rooms are extremely sparse and though I had Keurig pods there was not a coffee maker in sight. I highly recommend checking in well before 7:30 at which time the front desk closes. Make sure all of your lights outlets TV Wi-Fi, etc are working and that you have all the towels pillows and blankets you might need. I was dealing with a nasty cold at the time and did not have an extra blanket, working TV or even Kleenex. Thankfully I had TP and an extra roll for tissues. I want to like it here and feel comfortable but unless you are used to very sparse and basic conditions in your accommodations, I would consider making the drive to/from Winslow. I can say that the bed seemed to be in good condition, was comfortable and I slept pretty well. Interestingly both the AC and the heater worked excellently! I'm sure it's difficult to keep the hotel running and in good repair but with perhaps a little more focused attention in a few rooms The result would be a dramatic improvement. The restaurant area was very nice and the food I had was good. "
