Top Azores Hotel Reviews

Doubletree By Hilton Lagoa Azores
10/10 Excellent
"We very much enjoyed the spa after our jet lag. We also liked the buffet breakfast."

Azoris Royal Garden
10/10 Excellent
"I stayed in the royal sweet and there was a bit of a smell. Unfortunately for me, the bed was uncomfortable. They are very firm and im used to something alot softer. I ended up sleeping on the pull out could which was better. Other than that breakfast was good and staff very friendly. I would stay here again since it is confidently located and parking is great."

Grand Hotel Açores Atlântico
10/10 Excellent
"Great location, great staff all are both helpful and friendly and bilingual Food at the restaurants is delicious using great local flavours Would definitely stay here again"

Hotel Talisman
10/10 Excellent
"Really enjoyed this hotel. My flight was canceled so I had to hurriedly find a hotel. Found this one and I felt so lucky! The location is wonderful, right in the old historic section around numerous restaurants and little shops. The breakfast was beyond exceptional. Room was clean and very quiet. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate me, so helpful! Beautiful hotel"

Terra Nostra Garden Hotel

"Loved everything - this is a full service hotel and it feels like it."

ANC Resort
10/10 Excellent
"The room had a kitchenette and was perfect for family of 4. The direct access to the pool was amazing. The restaurant staff and food also couldn’t ask for better. Really enjoyed our time here."

Mercure Ponta Delgada Azores
10/10 Excellent
"I stayed at the Mercure Ponta Delgada Azores for 3 nights total. My first night was prior to meeting a one week active hiking biking and kayaking trip on the the island. My last 2 nights were after the group trip and I felt a sense of relief and "coming home" when I arrived for the second time. This hotel is a true gem. It is new, the rooms are clean, comfortable and quiet. I had a balcony which is always a nice treat. The front desk staff is lovely and very helpful. Beatriz, Maria, and Wilson were always there for a restaurant recommendation, help with logistics on planning a day, or to arrange for a taxi if needed. The buffet breakfast was included and had local cheeses and fruits as well as eggs and many options for all dietary needs. I am gluten free and never left breakfast hungry. Special thank you to Rafael who remembered my gluten free needs and always made sure I had what I needed! The pool area is beautiful. The location of this hotel was perfect. Walking distance to all great restaurants and the sights. There is a grocery store and a pharmacy 2 blocks away. Abracadabra Gelato is a short walk as well. As a single female traveler I felt safe walking alone even later at night. Stay here if you can. You will be glad you did! "

VIP Executive Azores Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Our stay was only for one night, overall it was good."

Vila Gale Collection S. Miguel Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Highly recommend this hotel. This hotel is well situated, about a 2 minute walk to center of town. Parking outside is metered from 8pm-7am, or hotel offers parking 10€ a day. Lot directly across the street is 6€ a day, or if you are ok to walk about 2 blocks- free parking on the street (ask hotel which streets, they will tell you) Clara, Tomas, Luis and Tugo really went above and beyond and help my cousin and I during our stay . Any time we needed assistance, they were happy to help us. We really appreciated the help with the room (Carla) help with the parking and restaurant suggestions (Tomas) lending an umbrella (Luis) help with drinks and poolside (Tugo) . Room was well appointed, as is normal for Europe, beds a slight bit stiff. Hair dryer great, shower water pressure great and warm. Had a refrigerator and safe. Windows looking out to the water (room 414) Floors set up interestingly- had to go up a flight of stairs to get to elevators - 4th on 2 different levels, split levels. Breakfast was excellent and well appointed. Plenty of food and options. They were great at refilling food. Spa was relaxing and very pretty. Suggestions for restaurants and sights:Recommend Cais da Sardinha , Bom Pesquiero for dinner, Tonys for traditional Cozidho (2pm 4pm seatings) go to Poca da Dona Beija for hot springs, dont waste your time at Terra Nosta. Overcrowding and lockers are nightmare. Worth seeing Vista do Rei, Boca do Inferno. Scuba, not the greatest visibility and water is cold."
