"The room was OK. It was one night. Bed was alright. Check in was the problem. They could not accommodate a small early check in. We are Reward Members, but booked through Expedia. It is less expensive. It shouldn't be. Since we did this, they charged our credit card a $250.00 "Incidentials fee". We thought that was entirely too much, but they really didn't care. We booked through Expedia, so that's the way it is. The Incidentials fee goes away after 24 hours we were told. It took 36 hours. I looked at our credit card charges only to find that we were charged the Incidentals fee twice. I called 36 hours later when I found out. I spoke to a young man at the front desk who was rude, argumentive, and would rather talk than listen. He blamed the fact that they had charged us twice on Expedia and our Credit Card Company. Not. His rudeness has turned us off to Hampton Inn and Suites. If someone is hired at the desk to represent the Hotel, they need to be able to listen and understand. We are DONE with Hampton Inn and Suites. This is specific to the location in Bedford, NH. Breakfast was average."
