The staff and our room was very pleasant. Breakfast was delicious and plenty to eat. While you’re here, go to the neighborhood bar The Fountain to get a real taste of the local folks.

Lovely hotel. Staff were all nice and friendly. Large clean room, comfortable bed, great tea and coffee facilities in room. Night porter on duty when we came back late from a wedding was friendly and helpful. Breakfast - good selection and nicely cooked, buffet on Sunday, cooked to order on Monday.

The room was spacious and had all we required with tea, coffee and biscuits. Bathroom was spotless with clean towels. Bed was king size and very comfortable. Breakfast was very good with a good selection of cereals etc and cooked food. Staff were polite and friendly

Enjoyable overnigh stay

Only one night but really enjoyed it. Used advance check in & it worked well; took no time at all on arrivl. Staff friendly & helpful. The whole place is full of character, the room was clean and tidy, lovely exposed beams. B'fast included, freshly & tasty.
