"We loved the place. Ate Jem was very kind, and accommodating. Love the pool and even the ocean where we do quick snorkeling. We even saw turtles. Wish to come back when we're in Samal again"
"I will highly recommend if you are looking for a place to unwind. Rest in the cottage overlooking the ocean, clean waters, tall beautiful trees and sounds of the fish splashing.
The staff are very courteous. Rest assured your things are safe. Pineapples, watermelons and papayas are tge sweetest. Do not forget to try their beet salad and mini burger prepared by Sir Aldrin’s night shift chef.
Definitely will come back.

"We arrived only to find out the unit was overbooked. Very disappointing and inconvenient considering all family (10 total) were thereto enjoy. We had to scramble to find another place to stay so their trip to Samal wasn't a total disaster "
"Darrel and the rest of the staff was more than accommodating. They could not have been friendlier or more helpful with your every request. The electricity went out two times not the fault of the resort, but the backup generator was not working. We had a beachfront cottage which had wonderful views."
"Our experience at the resort was disappointing mainly due to poor maintenance and lack of staff assistance.
First, the swimming pool was not properly maintained. There were tadpoles and insects in the water, which made it obvious that the pool had not been cleaned for a long time. We were told to wait while they cleaned it, so we went to do another activity. However, when we returned, no one was cleaning the pool and it was still in the same condition, so we were unable to swim.
We also paid ₱900 per extra person, but we were informed that towels were not included and we had to pay an additional ₱100 for them. This felt unreasonable given the already high fee.
The food was also disappointing. We ordered à la carte dishes that were advertised as good for 2–3 people, but the servings were extremely small and served in very small containers. The shrimp dish in particular had tiny frozen shrimp and did not seem fresh. Overall, the food was not worth the price.
The checkout process was another issue. The staff on duty were a new hire and an OJT, and they were not familiar with how to apply the senior citizen discount for food. I had to stand at the counter for almost an hour while they repeatedly tried to contact someone named “Baj” (I believe a senior staff member) for assistance, but that person never showed up.
The resort itself is large and has a lot of potential, but it clearly needs better maintenance and improved staff training. Many staff members were just sitting and"
"This is a beautifully furnished house right on the water. There are steps that lead into the water! A public beach is just 5 minutes up the road. Josephine, the property manager, was fantastic. She helped arrange dinner for us who were arriving much later than expected."
