Banff, Alberta hotel rooms at the Delta Hotels

"nice enough hotel, balcony had a lovely view and everything was comfortable. all staff i interacted with were very kind and the hot pools were very nice as well. unfortunately though i often did not have clean linens or replacement linens after housekeeping. Also they have a “personalized” coffee situation where you order what you’d actually like every day and they leave it in the room for you, but i only had my order brought to the room once out of 6 days. overall nice but not necessarily worth the extra price tag just yet in my opinion. "

"No AC in our room, so made it a bit warm to sleep, but the room was clean Enjoyed the hot pool a lot after a full day of driving. Easy walking distance to a full array of restaurants. Nice under ground parking. "

"The hot tub, as always, was absolutely gorgeous. Parking is a nightmare for a larger vehicle- we had to do laps of the lot before finding a spot, which was completely opposite side of our unit; with 5 young kids, this was a nightmare. Parking never improved over our 2 night stay and room numbered stalls would be extremely helpful. Our room was mediocre, clean but outdated- two lamps were missing switches, the dishwasher wouldn’t complete a cycle and the bathroom door was faulty. Nothing so severe it ruined our trip, but things we assumed wouldn’t be an issue when paying the high costs."

"Beds were comfortable. Rooms cleaned daily with fresh towels. The soaps in the shower smelled so good! Breakfast buffet was good but I was surprised it was exactly the same all 4 mornings. Renting the bikes from the hotel was awesome. Parking on the street for free rather than the garage was a nice bonus. Walking 20min to dinner every night was quite far after a day of adventure though, so I would choose a hotel closer to the action next time. My biggest complaint was about the courtyard amenities. I specifically booked this hotel for the sauna, cold plunge, hot tub; Nordic cycle. It was our anniversary trip and that’s my husband’s favourite thing to do. The first 2 days, both the cold plunge and the hot tub were closed for repairs… I understand it’s shoulder season but feel the hotel could have notified of this in advance because it was very disappointing. And then when the hot tub reopened you couldn't use it until 8am…. We like to start our day with a hot tub at home so I didn’t understand why it couldn’t be used at 630-7am. The cold plunge never reopened. "
