โWhat a lovely little guest house within walking distance to York city centre. Danielle was a lovely host who made sure everything was in order for us. The room was comfortable, the breakfast was delicious and the fact that parking is included makes this place good value for money. The only thing worth noting is that the loft room is up 3 sets of stairs (the last one being a little steep) so bear that in mind if you have luggage or if you plan on doing the climb up the York Cathedral Tower tour...
โThe hotel was clean and conveniently located (about a 10 min walk from the railway station). It isnt super close to the city center (about 20 min), but the walk isnโt too strenous (no hills!). Would recommend.โ
โAbsolutely amazing stay. Staff were brilliant and very helpful, location is perfect and room was great. Breakfast was amazing with lots of chooce available. Only slight blip was the water pressure of the shower. But thks did t detract from a lovely weekend away. Will certainly look to book again. โ
โI really enjoyed my stay at Ashbourne House! The room was very comfortable and bright, with all the amenities I needed. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The location is great too -- a lovely walk along the river away from the bustling city centre. โ

โEverything during our stay was wonderful. The beds were super comfy, the AC was a bonus during the heat wave, the staff at the front desk were very welcoming and helpful. Will definitely book here again for future trips โ
