โRoom was fabulous, huge bed, gorgeous bathroom, styled really differently. Food delicious & different with some delicious twists on classics. Staff lovely & attentive & helpful with where to park. Courtyard perfect for a sunny afternoon/evening โ
โAbsolutely beautiful restored old mill lovely and clean , comfortable good food and friendly staff .Also the grounds of the hotel were breathtaking so lovely to walk around the lake and see the peacock and ducks would definitely return .โ
โThe Staff were fantastic - couldn't be more helpful. Room was ok, very clean, and had a good night's rest. Lovely meal and had a nice wander around the village. Very convenient off the A303 for a break on our trip to Cornwall. Highly recommend.โ
โLovely to see a proper village pub so busy on a couple of weekday nights in Mid-January. And quite rightly so - friendly staff, friendly locals and friendly guests.
Breakfasts were great, dinners delicious and very reasonably priced (wife said the Rib-eye steak was the best 'pub steak' shed ever had and my chicken goujons were fantastic.

โThis is such a lovely hotel. Really welcoming staff, comfortable, quiet room and close to shops and eating places in Chard. The breakfast was so good, cooked to order, really can't fault anything. โ

โStrong WiFi throughout. Plenty of choice for breakfast, although the cooked food was a bit salty for our liking. Bed was firm, with a creak. Non feather bedding, so great for allergies. Bathroom door wasn't keen to stay shut. Room was clean. Great selection of teas, coffee and hot chocolate as well as biscuits. Quiet location over the night. Steak and ale pie great, veg pie you needed a spoon to eat the contents with. โ

L'hรดtel n'est pas moderne, mais trรจs confortable. Les chambres sont vraiment trรจs bien. Pour se garer, il y a un parking payant en journรฉe trรจs proche et trรจs pratique pour charger et dรฉcharger les affaires.
Le personnel est trรจs dynamique, sympathique,le petit dรฉjeuner trรจs copieux.
