“Relaxed and unfussy boutique hotel at the quieter end of Biarritz. A short walk to the beach and very short walk to the lighthouse. Great for access to local bars and restaurants in St Charles. Pool is small but doesn’t get too busy. You can also use the bigger pool in the hotel next door if there’s space. Food is excellent, although the menu is short and doesn’t change much. Staff very friendly and helpful. No complaints!”
“Our stay at Regina Experimental Biarritz was, unfortunately, extremely underwhelming. We chose the hotel primarily because we wanted to enjoy the pool, so finding out that the pool was closed during our one-night stay was a major disappointment and significantly impacted our plans. While the hotel offered access to the pool at a neighboring property, the alternative was nowhere near the standard we expected from a five-star hotel.
