"My mom and I really enjoyed our stay. Rooms and buildings are renovated, the area and surroundings are very peaceful, lots of activities to do & staff is very friendly, except for Chris at the front desk who does not seem to want to be there. Just a 5 minute drive to downtown Helen. Loved the oldies music being played at breakfast!"

"We stayed one night at the Hampton Inn in Helen Georgia. I was skeptical about Hampton Inn as I have never stayed at one. I have to say, I was very happy once we arrived. The front desk staff was super friendly and very helpful with suggestions (and a map) for dinner. We had a suite that was quite roomy! I would most definitely stay there again and recommend to my friends and family."

"This property was beautiful. Located right on the lake, the morning and evening views were gorgeous. The description is a bit deceiving. You get the idea there is a lounge, dining, and other amenities on site, and this is just not true. Within walking distance on, or adjacent to the property you will find food and drinks, but within the lodge itself is only a small coffee shop with pre-made sandwiches and random drinks. The website makes it sound like a true meal and drinks are more convenient that what they really are. It looks to be an older lodge that has been renovated. In our room, the fit and finish was not great. They attached a modern barn slider door to the bathroom and left a 2–3-inch gap because of some older and thick base boards. If privacy in the bathroom is a must, you would have not been pleased with this. The fan in the bathroom did not work so it fogged badly during each shower, and the in-room refrigerator was frozen over. Appeared it had not been serviced or replaced in a long time. Other than that, staff was wonderful, hot water and water pressure for showers was GREAT, and the swimming pool was a bonus. My family will stay there again, but only if the rate is right. We stayed during the week, so rates were not bad at all. Their weekend rates I did not believe were a good value."

"OMG! We travel a lot and my wife is very critical of the hotels where we stay. We both fell in love with Dahlonaga Resort and Vineyards. I love the grounds as it took me back to my happy-fun days at summer camp in the same area. It was a nice surprise they had Netflix too. You have to also try Foothills Grill! We are planning to have our children and grandchildren join us next time. CAN'T WAIT!"
