“I appreciated a clean room, sheets etc. which were really the most important for me. One member of staff on reception was quick, efficent and aimiable. Another was surly and unappreciative. The bar closed early, which did not bother me; but the only food on the menu was pizza, not a favourite. I did not have breakfast.”

“Hotel is not fit to house a dog. Blood and semen on the bed, bed made out of wood, exposed electrics, shower door that doesn’t close. Half the building had pigeons flying around inside which we seen as we pulled up. All was reported to reception and asked for a refund, which was refused. We left and booked another hotel! After 2 hours of phone calls to hotels.com they agreed to refund for our booking. ”

“You get what you pay for. Cheap accommodation suitable for 1-2 nights. Staff very helpful and let us leave bags with them after check out (as we had 4 hours until our train left). Sea view from the room was great. Room was a bit tired but again, expected when paying the low price we did.”

“Internet was terrible .. I had no signal…the lovely person on reception told me they were aware of connection issues and were dealing with it. The staff and hotel itself were, as always, wonderful!! Great breakfast too!!”

“We had a warm welcome at the hotel, which unfortunately doesn’t have any parking spaces. Our rooms were in the third floor, which we could access through an older elevator. The hotel has seen its best years and probably needs a good investor to renovate the property and furniture. It is at a great location, close to the beautiful beach and restaurants nearby. We left before 7am, when breakfast was served.”

“The family room was a good size and clean unfortunately the double bed had a dreadful squeak at every movement! However for one nights stay it was absolutely fine. I needed to wash and sterilise some baby bottles and despite it being 10pm the staff were very helpful and came back to give me access to the kitchen and microwave ( which again was very clean and tidy) we left too early for breakfast but I wouldn’t hesitate to book again for an overnight stop”
