"The Empress is just what one would expect from this very special chain of hotels - elegant, historic, classy, with excellent staff (particularly in the Gold level). Sometimes, hotels are simply locations which one uses as a base for activities; although the Empress was at the centre of activities, the lounges were so inviting and relaxing that we had to question whether we just wanted to sit and relax or go sightseeing; we ended up going out a little less and sitting back and doing nothing just a little more."
"This was a really nice hotel in a central location. Very walkable. Parking was decent, however upon checkin parking is tight (not many cars fit in the area. We had a beautiful view room and could see the Empress and harbor with cruise ships. Very quiet, nice swimming pool. An enjoyable stay in Victoria."

The Magnolia Hotel was the perfect spot for a refreshing break. Complimentary e-bikes made exploring the city a breeze, and the top-notch espresso machine in the lobby was a daily treat. Each morning, I enjoyed their refreshing infused sparkling water, and in the evenings, the complimentary chocolates and turndown service added such a thoughtful touch.
