“Not the best place I’ve ever stayed but not the worst. Could definitely use some deep cleaning and a remodel. Our room had an odd and very distinct smell, and there was an envelope in the room welcoming someone by a different name than us. Overall, it was a decent place to stay for cheap for a night, but definitely not the kind of place to stay for a full on vacation.”

“The staff were very friendly and welcoming at check-in. The room was clean, and the breakfast had a nice variety, so we were able to enjoy a proper morning meal. The dining area was clean as well, which we appreciated. The only downside was that the room was a bit dark since there was no ceiling light, but overall we were satisfied with our stay.”

“I would highly recommend this place and the area just a few miles from downtown St. Augustine . Easy to get a Uber. Quiet area. Walking distance to beach and a couple local. Will definitely stay here again when coming to this area.”

“Room was dirty. Dark ring in the bathtub. Wall in the sink area was dirty. WiFi was a big issue.”

“The room was extremely dirty. The towels appeared only partially clean, the curtains were stained, and the bathtub was filthy. There was hair in the bed when we arrived, which made us question the overall cleanliness of the room. The pool was also filled with sand and poorly maintained. The complimentary breakfast was very limited, consisting mostly of juice and bread items, and guests were required to eat in the breakfast area. “The staff at Anastasia Inn are fantastic! Whenever our family comes to St. Augustine we always stay there, more than 20 years. Recently we forgot some clothing in one of the closets. I called and described the items. I received a call back that they had the items in their lost and found. I was so grateful. Also, the inn is clean and I find they are my halfway point to attractions in town and the beaches.”
