“The Quinta da Moita is out of the way of the Douro Valley but well worth the detour. I stayed there 3 nights on a solo trip. The owners are fantastic, very sweet. The place is perfect for quiet respite, clean rooms, comfortable beds, great breakfast! I recommend to anyone for solo stay or couple gateaway! Their wines are great too!
Just make sure to have food for dinner if you want to relax for the evening as everything is pretty far. But the drive is gorgeous and fun!

“A beautiful view but not a great option if you have any kind of mobility issues. Be prepare to walk up and down multiple flights of stairs. No elevators anywhere. That qualification aside, a beautiful place .”

“Excelente lugar, Carolina y el dueño son muy amables y dispuestos, el desayuno esta muy bien servido y muy buena calidad, se nota que se preocupan muchisimo por los huéspedes, si estan buscando algo por la zona ni lo duden lo recomiendo muchisimo ”
