“Beautiful little gem up in the mountains with a beautiful view. Near a wonderful stretch of beaches but a long rough gravel road so be prepared if you plan to venture out. Staff was friendly and accommodating. We were welcomed with a cocktail. WiFi was solid, breakfast was delicious. We only stayed one night but the pool looked beautiful and inviting. Very lovely spot and quiet and relaxing. Service was impeccable. ”

“We really enjoyed our quiet stay at Marala. It was very clean, the room and bathroom were large and the entirety of the front of the resort offered amazing views. The restaurant and bar offered great selections! ALL the staff, front desk, waiters/waitresses, kitchen, housekeeping and bar tenders were kind and courteous. We would stay again!”

“Is a nice small hotel, good parking lot, good slow EV charger. Swimming pool is small, but water is crystal clear, jacuzzy without hot water, but it's not cold though. Rooms are good size, clean and modern. It is not front beach, and you need to walk for it. You need a car if you want to go for beach, restaurants or places out of the hotel, 10 min rides. Breakfast is awesome, typical and good portions, restaurant is kind of limited, but chef knows his art. The best of it was the staff,...

“The tranquil atmosphere of the resort was wonderful. Quiet. Relaxing. Loved the deck we had with the table and chairs to sit back and read, relax or watch the view. The pool was a good size for actual swimming and deep. The room was so-so. No frills there. Staff was friendly and helpful. Food was good, just enough to hit the spot. It would have been nice to have snacks and drinks available to purchase in case we needed something. No TV but we don't watch it anyway. ”

“Beautiful location right on our own beach. Fun body surfing waves. Very quiet and peaceful. Very basic rooms so bring a clothesline to hang anything up to dry- no closets or hangers. Restaurant offered delicious food. ”

“This was a lovely hotel right on the beach. Easy access to the beach and pool. Quaint and clean with friendly staff. Breakfast was included and they had great options. We had several meals there ad all were tasty. The rooms were comfortable and you could see and hear the ocean. We will definately return. Don't miss this place.”

“On new Year's Eve at 8pm ready to take a shower and go out we noticed no towels and 6" dirty standing water in shower. Went to off and called with no response. Found another number and someone showed up. Told us to deal with it or leave. On New Year's Eve we were going to leave at 8pm!! Exsteamly hostile..”
