"We had an amazing stay at Mont Rest! Hearing the history from Chris (the owner) was an added treat! So crazy to see how she saved the property not once, but twice! The staff was exceptional. The breakfast was incredible. I loved that there wasn't a huge push to get people checked out. Our room was lovely and well appointed! We cannot wait to schedule another long weekend in Bellevue!"

"This is a great place to stay. The staff is extremely friendly and very knowledgeable regarding the area. The complimentary breakfast and cookies were fantastic. I loved the salt water pool /waterslide and hot tub. It’s convenient to have a water refilling station, bathrooms, arcade and fitness center near one another, We loved having a laundry room to wash & dry clothes."

"Pros- 1- Helpful and friendly staff, 2-Clean hotel, 3- fantastic complimentary breakfast, 4- easy commute to downtown Galena, stores, restaurants and attractions. 5- Easy parking
Cons- 1- We were unaware they only clean the room after a 3 night stay. We stayed 5 days & 4 nights without any housekeeping. I am not sure, if this location is understaffed or unorganized that rooms are not being cleaned. It’s not hygienic. 2- Pool is not heated and the hot tub was not hot."
