"The stay was lovely and Ana was very friendly and easy to deal with. The room was clean and tidy. The location was perfect as it was walking distance to the old town and the Split Promenade. "Our room at Castle 1700 was in the annex, as I had requested. The room and the bathroom we're very clean and comfortable. Mijo was very helpful to us in moving our luggage up and down the steps to our room. We took advantage of the breakfast buffet on one of the two days that we stayed there and it was a very nice breakfast complete with a combination of hot food and cold food options. We really liked staying in the Old City and it was very convenient to many of the shops and the restaurants of old town. I will say that the temperatures outside were very warm while we were there but the air conditioning inside the room was very cool and refreshing and did not disappoint while we were there."

"We stayed at this property for one night my wife and I and we enjoyed every moment of it. The room was very large, immaculately clean, and hot water. The staff were friendly at all times and it was great our room was ready early. The location is perfectly located right in the heart of all the action to experience restaurants, bars and shops, it is also very quiet. Definitely would recommend :)"

"Fabulous breakfast! Very clean, but the elevator had an odd smell which is why i put 4 stars. The staff spoke English and were very helpful. Location is very quiet with not much close by. If you’re not one to walk a lot, plan to use uber to get anywhere. It is uphill so we got a decent workout walking back and forth. Slept wonderfully and since Split was our first stop, was nice to have the right environment for sleep."

"Location was great walking distance to Palace, Local Beach Club, Train and Cruise Dock. Room was nice with a nice size bathroom and shower. Furniture was a bit strange, the desk had an inclined gaming style chair, but the side chair was comfortable. The mattress, although comfortable, needed to be higher in the bed frame. The rooftop seating was lovely at night to bring your own drink for a nightcap. Staff were helpful, specifically Martina was extremely friendly and informative."
