"This hotel was excellent, especially for it's price point. The rooms were clean, spacious, and smelled good. I brought a pet and while I saw quite a few others, I never heard any other animals nor people for 4 days while in my room. The staff were great, they were always pleasant. The breakfast was decent. I cannot speak on the fitness room or pool. I've read comments about a sketchy area or people near the hotel, but I encountered nothing like that. It seemed like a good area, the parking lot felt very safe, the hotel was fairly close to many things, and easy access to I-40. The price was one of the best in all of Asheville so I was very hesitant at first to book a room here, but I took a chance and was so glad I did. "

"There is very little parking and what few spaces provided are tight! Our refrigerator did not work, and the beds were a tad uncomfortable (low to the floor)."

"The entire hotel needs updating. There were two elevators but only one worked. There was a reddish stain on the carpet in front of the pull out bed, and next to the balcony door you can see light coming from the outside. We heard outside noise from the street below on the 7th floor."

"The property is gorgeous with a short walking path through the woods, lots of trees and birds. Randy and his staff go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need. The space is laid out for relaxation and enjoying the natural environment. The location is perfectly outside the city in the mountains but still a short drive to Asheville and other attractions. The Blue Ridge Parkway is a 5 min drive from the property. "

"Check in time was 3:00 p.m. we arrived at 5:15 and the front desk said they didn't have any rooms ready after a half hour we got into a room. There was no hand towels or no kleenexes in the room there was cobwebs in corners and slang written on the ceiling. Also absolutely no coffee anywhere in the hotel. The lady at the front desk never got up off her chair, making you look over the front desk. I've worked at hotels and I feel that was very rude. Maybe I should say she was lazy. The hotel itself in the stairwells all hallways and elevators had a very bad odors. Upon entering my room it smells of marijuana. I will never stay there again if in the area."
