I highly recommend this villa when staying in Upper Bavaria because of location, amenities, shower, room, breakfast, safety, cleanliness, and the owner. Sebastian and his wife were nice and super friendly. Sebastian was very responsive and he gave me all these recommendations where to eat and hike. The villa is close to train and bus stations. The most wonderful stay. The villa is beautiful, The couple running it (Marion and Martin) are the sweetest and nicest people who works very hard to make the villa feel like a 5 star boutique hotel. Even the coffee is made on a super high-end machine I never saw in a hotel, the breakfast is legendary and the location is a dream, quiet and beautiful. We also got a lot of tips on what to do and had the best time ever!

Wonderful experience in this amazing hotel. To the points that matter the most: room was very comfortable (including very nice bed and excellent shower pressure); breakfast with great variety and good quality; staff very polite and helpful; check in and check out very fast and efficient. Definitely coming back and definitely recommend to others!

The property was beautiful and clean. Cannot speak to the amenities as we were there during the end of summer season and many were winding down.

The hotel is close by a main street which is not the best location but the noise was acceptable.,The hotel rooms are beautiful! The breakfast buffet is extraordinary!! It is a solid 4 Star hotel.

The apartment is well maintained and contains all the facilities needed. They also provided ground coffee, tea, salt and pepper, oil, dishwasher tablets and more which is a big advantage compared to other apartments. They have a short term parking next to the apartment which is useful while the main parking lot is located within 5 min. walk.

The best hotel we have ever stayed at. The views are amazing and the hotel is something out of a good movie. The staff were terrific. We went on a guided one hour torch nature walk that the hotel puts on Friday night. It is truly one of the most beautiful places in the world.

Nice modern hotel which once an insurance company. So you have the feel of staying in an historic hotels with modern amenities.

I have stayed at the Goldener Hirsch for the past 30 years The hotel and its staff never fail. Charming and comfortable, it is located in the midst of an active tourist area but absolutely quiet inside and completely safe outside. The staff listen carefully and exceed every request. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Salzburg.

I thought I was booking an inexpensive hotel conveniently located near the highway. This place far exceeded my expectations: this hotel could be a destination in itself. The swimming pools (in and out), the grounds, the decor (handcrafted, unusual furniture).....and the breakfast! Fabulous.

What a great find this hotel was! Modern, clean and the BEST included breakfast I have ever had at any hotel.
