We booked a twin room as it was myself and my father and expected twin beds. Twin beds were not available, but the staff upgraded to a small apartment with a convertible sofa which was located in an annexe. Legacy Rose and Crown Hotel
Kitchen had just closed when I arrived in the evening (midweek) but remaining catering staff offered me soup and sandwiches. Always a most enjoyable stay.

Great place if you want close to the railway: just across the street and around the corner. Very clean, room was small but comfortable, very clean. Stone Circle Glamping
This is located almost on a roundabout of a major road, however, it wasn’t noisy at all. Close to stone henge and literally across the street from a restaurant pub. Great people. The site itself is a little muddy due to some construction happening but I’m sure it will be fine in the summer time.
