Due to travel problems and cancelled flights I ended up getting here late, almost midnight. Way after check in time. Luckily I set off security lights entering parking spot. The owners were very nice and hooked me up with a beautiful room even though I probably woke them up. The bed was clean and very comfortable. Cute room with fridge and microwave. I spent 3 days at Villa Marine and don't regret a single minute of it. The staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating, the hotel is cozy and the views amazing, and it made me feel I was in a good friends' house. Susan and her staff drove me where I needed to go and bent over backwards to make sure I was well taken care of. Bloemenzee Boutique B&B is a true gem hidden in the hills of Gordon’s Bay. The beautiful house and backyard with palms and pools will let you feel like you stepped into paradise the moment you checked in. And your unbelievably lovely and warm hosts Lidwien & Frans will make you not want to leave anytime soon after. Next to our great stay, we also enjoyed a tasty 3 course dinner provided by Frans, another recommendation! In one word: wow! We definitely want to come again.

Our hosts, Cindy and Charlie, were very kind and engaging. The room was clean and spacious, with a fantastic view of the bay. Breakfast was superb, with a great selection of anything that you could possibly want. We highly recommend this property for anyone staying in Gordon’s Bay.

Clean room, friendly staff, and the best location in Gordons Bay. Being on the harbor means instant access to all the other restaurants, including Antonios Pizza. Breakfast had a wide selection. Interesting to see Europeans do not know health etiquette rules around the buffet.

The accommodation were way better than I assumed. Everything is just spotless clean. Very nice and clean inside pool area. Big kitchen for everyone's use. Room and bathroom clean, big and comfortable. Owners went out of their way to make it a very special stay for us. Just too short. Will stay there again.

We enjoyed our stay very much. A beautiful and well kept property. Secured parking inside the gate. We had an upstairs room (no elevator) and had help getting our luggage up. Bed was comfortable and the bathroom was large. The balcony with the ocean view is worth the extra cost! Walking distance to town with all kinds of stores. It’s a beautiful guest house and in a lovely quiet spot. We were greeted very pleasantly by Dawn(?) who kindly showed us the wonderful facilities. If we ran a guest house this is exactly how we would do it. Our bedroom was beautiful with plenty of room and a very comfortable bed and a lovely shower. The lodge was excellent the staff super friendly ,the breakfast was excellent the pool was perfect to relax at .The ocean walk is just moments away and the walk into Hermanus was stunning .Whales were everywhere we were there in Oct .Hermanus was a perfect coastal get away

The Marine must occupy one of the world's great natural locations. Perched on the cliffs overlooking the Indian Ocean in the resort town of Hermanus, there is no better place to enjoy breakfast. Walk along the cliffs, visit the beach, watch for whales ... what's not to like? BTW - the food is great.
