"Breakfast menu was delish and lots of choice - and free. Not so good - there was no Airport shuttle - that info is incorrect- please fix it as 80 Franc’s each way - expensive. Room was dated, but large for Europe. Restaurant - amazing food and we loved it and amazing staff. No air conditioning until warmer months. Windows open at night room resulting in sleepless nights - loud vehicles. Close to Lake 10 minute walk. We felt safe and staff were kind. Thank you. "

"Lovely hotel, good staff, nice breakfast! Perfect location. Bit weird how the shower and toilet are set up in the room, no privacy at all. Also the tea / coffee and iron are down another corridor, would be nice in the room. Otherwise excellent."

"NO air conditioning and NO cable TV (cast, screen mirroring also did not work - no internet in the room). I paid for a family room with a sofa bed for my mother and I and it was definitely not what was pictured. Same with the bathroom. Not sure if the photos are of rooms in this hotel at all? The only thing i appreciated was the friendly worker at breakfast - Esther!"

"A very unexciting hotel. I was expecting more for the almost $200 price, but that's Switzerland. Fast food is over $20. T shirts $30-40. The room was tiny, hard to put away my things. The outlet had a rim around it, so I could not insert my European adapter, but the hotel loaned me one. No refrigerator or safe that I could see. So very spare, but location was great, right in Old Town and a short walk to the train station. Be warned that there are a lot of stairs to reception. Found out later if you walk a good distance around the block you can find a less challenging entrance, but with multiple bags I chose the main entrance and got help going down the stairs when I left. Serviceable but nothing more. They did have CNN. though."

"I only spent one night at the Hotel Adler Zurich as I had an early flight out the next morning. It was a good experience as the room was clean and comfortable. The staff was very helpful with helping to choose a restaurant for dinner and making sure there was a taxi waiting to get me to the airport in the morning. And it is located in Old Town - greta location! I would stay again if I ever get back to Zurich."
