"Absolutely a gem. The hotel appears a bit aged, but like the owner - is in perfect shape. It is clean and comfortable. Huge windows, plenty of towels, big rooms, awesome parking, well stocked minibar, apples and candies at the front desk…the owner has his own hands on everything. It’s rare to find such a personal touch, but caring for this hotel and travelers is his life work and it shows. As weekend guests, we had the place largely to ourselves (occupied by mostly business travelers) - so limited staff - he laid the breakfast for us himself after inquiring what time we would be up to eat. 100% recommend and hope to stay here again. Less than 10 minute drive to the Frankenstein Castle (currently being renovated but grounds are open to explore). Easily could accommodate a large group of travelers comfortably. Beautiful time capsule hotel."
