The staff was amazing and very accommodating and personable! The views were also beautiful as they are right on the lake. The only issues were the bed mattress and pillows not being very comfortable but overall, would go back. Enjoyed our stay there.

Great location close to The Village at Big Bear. Heater kept the room very warm but had a drip that persisted throughout the night. Facilities are decent and the staff was very helpful.

Check in was so easy ! Front desk was so friendly & welcoming she answered all our questions no hesitation. Everything was clean. The location is amazing close to the village& the lake is right behind you with grills , tables ready to use . Will definitely be staying here again!

The main heater is not working, so we are relying on a portable heater and the fireplace. Additionally, the bathroom door gets stuck and required someone to kick it open to get out. The staff is nice and I discussed the issue with them.

Such a great cozy little spot. I was only there for less that 24 hours but I was greeted by staff with so much kindness every time and felt very welcome. I loved how close I was to the village which made it super easy to take a nice walk to the shops. Everything was clean and maintained. 10/10 recommend if you’re looking for a quiet place to recharge.

The room was basic and dated, the fireplace offered no real heat to the room, there was an electric space heater that worked well. Breakfast was not really breakfast. I thought the room was very expensive for what was the reality. The counter person was friendly and helpful.

We were in BB for a family funeral. We enjoyed the view, the size of the room, and two queen beds. The staff was very attentive. Definitely would return. We also liked the small beach and pier where swallows nest.

Great location

Location is great walking distance to village right on the lake it’s budget friendly but outlets were loose we could barely keep our phones charged and had to try one outlet after another that wasn’t about to fall out of the wall the deadbolt wasn’t working the coffee machine did not work. The fireplaces were broken But it’s rustic and quiet the staff is friendly and helpful

Check-in staff was very friendly and helpful with their limited resources. BUT - for $200 did NOT meet expectations. The TV and Internet never connected - just sat buffering even with password used to connect to WiFi. No coffee pods available and there was a used pod in the coffee pot. The small fireplace never came on although the wall furnace was great and easily warmed up the room. The bed springs, plastic mattress cover under the sheets and awful thin pillows made sleeping very uncomfortable (bring your own pillows). The roll of toilet paper was not enough to last the 24 hours so we had to go to office to pick one up - none in room. A "breakfast" was going to be available in the small 5'X5' "lobby" at 8:30 am but suspect very minimal - although we left as early as we could to escape (leaving the key in the mailbox because no locked dropbox and staff doesn’t arrive until 8:30am) and went out for breakfast on way out of town. The room was clean enough but the whole experience was dismal and disappointing for a $200 Saturday night stay.

Upon first impressions, I really wanted to leave a 1-star review. The front office spells awful. Our room was not ready at check-in and when we did come in, the fumes of Fabulosa had us needing to leave. And even though our room was late because of being cleaned the place was still very dirty. Stains on sheets and a lot of dirt and hair. But, I can tell that they are trying to keep this place going and it could’ve been much worse. When I inquired about the fire place not working, they fixed it. The heat cranks really well! The property is lake front as the pictures show, but the rooms and garden view are inaccurate. Please do not depend on the complimentary breakfast. The takeaway for us, was that housekeeping needs an overhaul and everything else could be overlooked.

I felt the room was a false advertisement from what I booked . The room needs a major upgrade. Wholes in the curtains … nasty floors that are not mopped. spider webs in the shower over all I wouldn’t stay there again. Staff great positives vibes , attitude over staff great

The stairs were hard to navigate, but we are seniors. We were super disappointed that the fireplace didn’t work. The room was decorated nice and the kitchen was a plus. Terry the manager was extremely nice. Part of the disappointment was Expedias fault. They listed it as having breakfast, it was continental. All and all it is a good location and fairly priced.
