I have stayed at Chateau Bedford numerous times in the last four years. It's a great facility in many ways and well located. But, I have noticed a slow degradation over time. The building is starting to show its age. I saw mole between the tiles and the upper rim of the bathtub. This is something I never saw in the last years. The carpeting in the always shows its age and should be replaced.

Everything was unique especially the automated system. Enjoyed the spa. We had some difficulty using the living room tv. Could not find local channels. Everything was LG channels. Otherwise the location, decor and amenities was extraordinary. We will tell our friends about this wonderful place.

Such a charming and historic stay in the BEST part of Halifax! The owners made check-in very easy and were super accommodating. If you want to be close to all the attractions in Halifax while staying in one of the city's surviving historic buildings, check this place out! Free parking and sunny rooms is a plus. Thank you!
