Check in staff were helpful key didn’t work on arrival and asked to change rooms as was solo traveller next to lots of rooms with kiddos. Bar staff all friendly and good. Room comfortable and clean some cilit bang black mould remover wouldn’t have gone a miss on silicone seal in shower. But comfy clean room would stay again!

Pretty sub-par experience as we only stayed for one night. The rooms were not overly clean (stains on floor, sofa, walls etc) but the bedding and towels felt clean and fresh. Shower was also very nice with nice Rituals products. The major downside was the lack of soundproofing across the rooms; we could hear every single conversation of our neighbours’ on the other side of the wall. There was also a lot of noise throughout the night (shouting, banging etc), in which we could not tell whether it was coming from the hallway or the room next door. This woke us up a few times throughout the night. Lastly, we didn’t have the breakfast since there was a £13 charge - would much rather have breakfast in a nicer brunch eatery or restaurant for that price. Overall, I’ve stayed in countless hotels and I can’t say that I would recommend this one. If you’re a deep sleeper or not particularly fussed about hygiene, it’s manageable for a one-night “I don’t want to drive 4 hours back home” type of stay, but after our experience, I think we would much rather take the 4-hour drive back home next time.

Great location for our trip to Coventry City football club. The hotel rooms are in need of a bit of TLC but the bed was very comfortable, the shower was great. The staff throughout the hotel were great, a credit to the organisation.
