Disgusting Apartments in City Center I stayed at “Pleasant Apartment in City Center” with the person I care for. The check-in email never arrived, so we had to call management for the access code. A later message asking about parking was ignored. The property is a repurposed office building in a semi-industrial area, with difficult street parking. There was no private shower or toilet, only two communal bathrooms shared between six rooms. There was also no kettle, cups or towels. The communal facilities appeared poorly maintained, and the kitchen was so unpleasant that we did not use it. On the second day I found a bed bug on the bed. I have previous experience with bed-bug extermination and can identify them. I then inspected the bed carefully and found about two dozen more live bed bugs of different sizes, most blood-fed. It was already very late, so we spent the entire night sitting on chairs away from the bed. I did not sleep at all. We left the following morning, one night early. After returning home, I counted more than 50 bites on my body. In my experience, this was a heavy and established bed-bug infestation. All belongings taken into the property now have to be isolated and heat-treated to avoid introducing bed bugs into our home. I strongly recommend staying very far away from this place.

I was not able to stay in this place, they had not sent me the code to access by the check in time. As such I had to pay for alternative accommodation. Do not stay here. Hotels.com should remove this place. They gave a number to call but the phone was off.

Avoid at all cost

I kid you not; these are the real pictures of this ‘not so pleasant apartment’. Everything was broken and dirty. The whole apartment smelled of constant cigarette smoke throughout my stay. The cheap price tag is for a reason, and you’ll only find out the hard way. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy.

The absolute worst place i have ever stayed, and i left after 5 minutes at great expense. The area felt dangerous and was dark and poorly lit, accomodation is unmarked and hard to find, the host didn't send the access code and he wouldn't answer the phone so a few hours before bed i had to contact customer support. When i did get hold of him he hung up, no explanation of why he didn't send the code and ignored my messages. The accomodation was full of noise and people smoking, so a nights sleep was out of the question, plus the unclean toilets are for everyone to share. The bedroom was so unpleasant i couldn't even consider staying or sleeping un the bed - truly there was not one thing about this place that i liked. It's not even great value as it was more expensive than many safer hotels in better areas. This place wasn't even worth a one night sleep just so i had a funny story to tell, because it's feels unsafe noisy and is in a rundown area. I rebooked somewhere else within 5 minutes of arriving.

I would like a refund. Thus place is discusting we had to leave and could not complete our stay. Dirty sheets snot up the walls absolutely filthy bed was broken and someone banging our door constantly my daughter is still having nightmares

There’s NOTHING pleasant about this apartment!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. A slept in bed, dirty sheets, one towel, a vile shared bathroom, questionable communal areas, people loitering in hallways repeatedly trying bedroom doors, poor lighting, dirty and stained carpets and the area around the property is badly lit and seems generally unsafe. Poor contact from owners with an air of contempt when contacting them to gain access to the property because they hadn’t sent passcode details for the main access door. We lasted no more than 15 minutes in the property and used that time to book somewhere else. Save yourself the hassle. Hotels.com should be ashamed if this is the standard of the properties they are willing to offer.
