“These lodges are just beautiful! Perfect location for the party we had at Rise and Grind. Beautiful views of the lake from the balcony. Spotlessly clean . Well equipped with kettle/ biscuits etc . Reception staff very welcoming. Honestly can’t fault it . Will visit again one day ”

“A warm welcome, busy nice feel to the bar / restaurant area. Room very dated in need of lick of paint. Bedding clean, bed comfortable. My room on bottom floor over looking car park so no privacy unless curtains closed. Quiet. Good location. ”

“Dirt in the room and under the bed. Staff generally good. Booking came with a room upgrade due to status. Room upgrade didn’t occur despite the hotel being empty and having availability on their website. Emailed the hotel through Expedia app (replying to the message they sent me) asking questions. That was ignored and not responded to. Dinner food quality was poor considering my the level they quote themselves to be at and prices charged. Ice cream for dessert clearly suffering from freezer burn...

“Beautiful room. Lots of space,and soap and body creme too. Shower lovely with shower gel,and shampoo. Breakfast choice was extensive and served at the table. Charming hostess was very attentive, but not overpowering. Would highly recommend it, and hopefully will stay again.”
