Facilities very good and rooms modern and clean - bed & pillows extremely comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. Due to the gym being busy parking can be difficult at times and there is a lot of construction work ongoing.

Lovely hotel. Room was clean and looked great. Family room was 2 queen beds which amazed my daughter! Restaurant was quite expensive so we ordered in but would definitely stay again.

Clean room. Looks like I stayed in a brand new renovated room. There is a lot of building work being done with the lift to my floor being out so had to walk the rest of the way up stairs which wasn’t a big issue for me.

This was an excellent hotel for our needs as a stopover for crufts nec.The room was clean the food was good all the staff were excellent no problems would book again if going to Birmingham.

Was a bit disappointed that the hotel had last orders for food at 9.15pm. Arrived just after this....the lady at reception was super quiet and was hard to hear her when she was helping us with the check-in ipad. The hotel was in a renovation period so had to walk upto 2nd floor to them come back down to 1st floor room. No phone in the room to contact reception when we wanted to contact them......had to walk the longer way to get back to reception. Our room was nice and clean with good coffee machine and nice shower plus good aircon. Breakfast was nice but the coffee from the DE machine was horrendous.....maybe they do it so you go to the Starbucks and pay for decent coffee. Overall I think I'll try to avoid Village hotels after this experience.

Disappointed that the room AC wasn't working and its 28° degrees. We were given just one fan to share between 3 people. 6am we had maintenance man banging on doors for good 15 mins and woke us up,so wasn't a great experience.

The room was clean and tidy and represented good value for money. Weekend car parking was free and check in and check out was speedy. The whole atmosphere was friendly and the staff were very good. Bar food and drinks represented good value for money/ There were no boathooks in the room which could have been a problem during wet weather. There was also nowhere in the bathroom to hang wet swimwear. There were insufficient wrist bands available for the pool area meaning we did not have locker access and had to take our belongings poolside.

Building works but no problem. Noisy guests in the corridor that woke me up at 1:30am. My meal in the grill was badly delayed as the request 'got lost'. Room was large, bed was comfy, shower was good. Free parking at the weekend. Not bad but not the best
